Quantum Dot Technology for Bigger Yields and Renewable Energy, with UbiQD
Damon and Matt from UBIQD are on the line to discuss quantum dot technology, and how it can benefit cannabis growers. Damon talks about his experience in the cannabis sector, including the building of his Dr. Jolly’s brand in Oregon. He then talks about how it led him to work with UBIQD, and eventually create their cannabis product UbiGro®– a quantum dot greenhouse film designed to improve yield. Damon and Matt explain how quantum dots work, as well as the tests that they have conducted showing that their product increases yields without reducing terpene expression. Then the guys talk about how quantum dots can be applied outside of the agriculture sector and traditional applications like television technology- and discuss the implications of this technology when it comes to renewable energy, renewable energy in farming, and energy efficient farming. They also explore how quantum dots can support eco-friendly farming practices.
